British technology company Dyson has launched a new air purification system for

British technology company Dyson has launched a new air purification system for use in shared spaces, including hotel lobbies and suites, conference rooms and open planned offices.

The new device, called Dyson HEPA Big+Quiet, launched today and hopes to tackle indoor pollution which can be up to four times worse than outdoor pollution, according to a study by Clean Air Day, a UK pollution campaign group.

A build-up of indoor pollutants can come from a variety of sources including CO2, cleaning products, cooking, plants and pets. In addition, outdoor pollutants can enter commercial indoor spaces and, if poorly ventilated, react with indoor pollutants, further reducing the quality air.
